The minreralwater springs are a great gift from the
nature to Lesvos. They are scatterd on the whole island and a proof for
the old volcanic activity of the area. Since ancient times Lesvos is
famous for his mineral chlorine-sodium waters in different temperatures.
Today they attract a great amount of visitors from around the world. In
Agiassos, Lisvori, Thermi, Loutra, Eftalou and Argenos are many mineral
water springs. Today the most springs are open for the public with a very
good tourist infrastructure.
The many green places because of the springs and the many springs along
the beautiful coastline makes Lesvos to one of the nicest therapy places
of the Mediterranean.
