Church of Ayioi Theodori ( Saints
Theodore ): It is the oldest church of Mytilini, built at the edge of
the ancient town.
It has been built during the Byzantine period and
has been reconstructed in the year 1759 with a three-aisle basilica
architectural style after it had been destroyed by fire. In the internal
we can see the oldest holy icon of Agios Theodoros the Byzantium -
patrol saint of Mytilini - which represents the nine scenes of his
martyrdom.
